Day 20 The southern Scenic route takes us through the southern city of Invercargill and on to a Jurassic era petrified forest on the shoreline in the Caitlins. At our most southern point we spend the night in a comfortable converted farmhouse, surrounded by sheep and rock gardens from where we look south towards Antarctica.
